The operation is necessary and imperative because the Student Community must enjoy high-level Learning and have at its disposal as many and as best tools as possible for this purpose. Furthermore, a need has been identified for the implementation of LIFE-LONG LEARNING actions for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), both to cover the population of the Municipality of Peristeri and the PWDs of the Western Athens ITI/SUD intervention area.

The project concerns the modernization and supplementation of educational equipment in the school units of the Municipality of Peristeri, the upgrade of schoolyards through the construction of sports courts and accessibility interventions, as well as the enhancement of digital infrastructure.
It includes the construction of sports courts and accessibility interventions in primary schools, lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools, and Vocational Senior High Schools (EPAL), lightning protection for schools, specialized equipment for Lifelong Learning programmes for PWDs, upgrading of ICT classrooms, and equipment for the Art Junior–Senior High School.
The objective is the modernization of school infrastructure and the provision of modern learning tools to students in the Western Athens ITI/SUD area.
