In accordance with Articles 29 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060, 13 and 25 of Law 4914/2022 (Government Gazette 61A, 21/3/2022) as amended and currently扩展 in force, and following the relevant "Call for proposals for Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) Strategies within the framework of the 'ATTICA' Programme for the 2021-2027 programming period – Update of ITI-SUD Strategies of the ROP Attica 2014-2020", issued by the Managing Authority of the "ATTICA" Programme (Protocol No. 1971/15-6-2023, ADA: 67Α57Λ7-ΤΗ5), ASDA, acting as the Spatial Authority, submitted a Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) Draft Strategy Proposal entitled "Inter-municipal Partnership for the Development of West Athens utilizing the ITI/SUD" of the Municipalities of Agia Varvara, Agioi Anargyroi-Kamatero, Egaleo, Ilion, Korydallos, Peristeri, Petroupoli, Fyli, Chaidari and the Association for the Development of West Athens (ASDA), with West Athens as its scope of application, utilizing the "Integrated Territorial Investment" (ITI).

By Decision of the Region of Attica No. 4201/14-12-2023 (ADA: 6ΨΘΒ7Λ7-Φ9Α), the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy of the Spatial Authority of the Association for the Development of West Athens (ASDA), entitled "Inter-municipal Partnership for the Development of West Athens utilizing the ITI/SUD", which is co-financed by the E.R.D.F. and the E.S.F.+, was approved.

The Directorate of the Intermediate Managing Authority of the Association for the Development of West Athens (ASDA) was designated as the Intermediate Managing Authority of the Operational Programme "Attica" 2021-2027 of the Region of Attica, pursuant to Decision of the Region of Attica No. 1142/30.04.2024 (ADA: 6ΨΩΟ7Λ7-ΒΑΠ) and always in accordance with the provisions of Law 4914/2022 (Government Gazette 61/Α’/21-03-2022) and in particular Article 13.
