The SUD/I.T.I Strategy of Western Athens for the Development of West Athens (A.S.D.A.) was designated as the Intermediate Managing Authority of the Operational Programme "Attica" 2014-2020 of the Region of Attica, in accordance with Decision No. 378/7.02.2018 of the Region of Attica (Online Publication Number/ADA: Ω3ΘΙ7Λ7-ΜΧ1) (Government Gazette 775/B’/7.03.2018), as amended by Decision No. 4008/29.12.2020 (ADA: ΨΙΖΓ7Λ7-9Η8) (Government Gazette B’ 6048/31.12.2020), and always in compliance with the provisions of Law 4314/2014, specifically Article 13, paragraph 7a.
By virtue of the aforementioned decision, management responsibilities for the Operational Programme "Attica" 2014-2020 were assigned to our Body for operations under the approved Sustainable Urban Development (S.U.D.) Strategy of the Association for the Development of West Athens (ASDA), titled "Inter-municipal Partnership for the Development of West Athens utilizing the ITI/SUD".
By Decision of the Minister No. 8366/20.7.2022 of the Managing Authority of the OP "Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainable Development" (Government Gazette 3990/B'/28.7.2022), management responsibilities were delegated to our body for operations in the Environmental Sector, co-financed by the Cohesion Fund of the Operational Programme "Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainable Development" 2014-2020.

In accordance with Articles 29 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060, 13 and 25 of Law 4914/2022 (Government Gazette 61A, 21/3/2022) as amended, and following the relevant "Call for proposals for Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) Strategies within the framework of the 'ATTICA' Programme for the 2021-2027 programming period – Update of ITI-SUD Strategies of the ROP Attica 2014-2020", issued by the Managing Authority of the "ATTICA" Programme (Protocol No. 1971/15-6-2023, ADA: 67Α57Λ7-ΤΗ5), ASDA, acting as the Urban/Spatial Authority, submitted a Draft Proposal for a Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) Strategy titled "Inter-municipal Partnership for the Development of West Athens utilizing the ITI/SUD" of the Municipalities of Agia Varvara, Agioi Anargyroi-Kamatero, Egaleo, Ilion, Korydallos, Peristeri, Petroupoli, Fyli, Chaidari, and the Association for the Development of West Athens (ASDA), with West Athens as its scope of application, utilizing the "Integrated Territorial Investment" (ITI).
