The Public Consultation procedures for the Development and Spatial Planning of Western Athens are structured into 4 Phases:

Phase 1: Internal Consultation – Strategy Building of Priorities and Mapping of Potential Actions
Phase 2: Adaptation of Strategic Texts and Finalization of the Spatial Strategy – Programmatic Agreement with the Universities of West Attica, Thessaly, and EETAA
Phase 3: Design of the Western Athens ITI/SUD 2021-2027 – Specialization into Actions and Financial Plan
Phase 4: Approval of the Development and Spatial Strategy of Western Athens – Municipal Action Plans – Specializations of New Actions within the 2021-2027 Programming Period Framework

The Consultation for the new 2021-2027 Programming Period commenced in September 2021 and is scheduled to be completed in December 2023, according to the individual Phases
