The operation aims to strengthen the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) in Western Athens, where high levels of poverty, unemployment, and social exclusion are recorded, while the SSE sector remains insufficiently supported.
It constitutes an innovative intervention creating a local SSE ecosystem that unites entities, municipalities, citizens, and social networks, promoting social inclusion and the development of social enterprises.

The operation implements a Social Economy Observatory, E-services for supporting SSE entities, and Participatory actions and social networks for the dissemination of SSE.The goal is to support existing and new social enterprises, without geographical restrictions, and to strengthen the SSE sector as a tool for social cohesion and employment.

The Operation aims to strengthen the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE), starting from Western Athens and reaching national scope through e-services without geographical or other restrictions. It creates the SSE Ecosystem, a network of cooperation between the market, civil society, local government, academic institutions, and social networks, for promoting employment and the social inclusion of vulnerable groups.

Key Pillars are the creation of an SSE Observatory, WAeSEIS E-services for the support and dissemination of SSE, and participatory and demonstration actions for the development of social networks.
The Operation is implemented through external contractors, without economic benefits or access restrictions, offering free services to all interested entities and citizens.
